Acer ProDesigner monitors target creators with 6K
Acer has added three new monitors to its ProDesigner range for creators. Two are built for your office or studio. The third is a portable screen you can take on the go.
ProDesigner PE320QXT 6K touchscreen display
The Acer ProDesigner PE320QXT has a 31.5-inch touchscreen that also supports a stylus. Its Quantum-Dot IPS panel delivers 6K (6016 x 3384 pixels) resolution at a 60 Hz refresh rate. You also get a built-in 8 MP webcam and microphone, plus two 5W speakers.
Connectivity covers two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB-C port with 90W PD and audio out. The monitor adds two USB 3.2 ports and USB-B (2up/2down).
Color-accurate display
The PE320QXT is factory-calibrated for color accuracy. It’s Calman Verified and covers 99% of AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 with a Delta E of less than 1. The display is DisplayHDR 600 certified too, with native brightness of 400 nits and HDR peak brightness of 600 nits. Acer puts the maximum contrast ratio at 100,000,000:1.
ProDesigner PE270KT 4K display
The Acer ProDesigner PE270KT steps down to a 27-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) IPS touchscreen. The smaller size doesn’t cost you much, though. It keeps the same 8 MP webcam and 5 W speakers, and it matches the larger PE320QXT for inputs and outputs. Color accuracy carries over as well, with the same Calman Verified 99% of AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 and a Delta E of less than 1. The PE270KT is DisplayHDR 400-certified, with a native brightness of 350 nits and an HDR peak of 400 nits. The contrast ratio holds at 100,000,000:1.

ProDesigner PE160W OLED portable monitor
The Acer ProDesigner PE160W is a 16-inch WUXGA widescreen OLED portable monitor. It runs a 1920 x 1200 resolution at a 60 Hz refresh rate. The portable form factor doesn’t gut the specs. It still delivers 16.7 million colors at 300 nits brightness with the same 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio as its larger siblings. Calman Verified color accuracy carries over too, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 color space with a Delta E under 2. You can connect via HDMI or either of the two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, which add DisplayPort support and 15W power delivery. Two 1W speakers and a headphone socket round out the audio.
What we think
Acer’s new ProDesigner monitors deliver the color accuracy you need for great-looking video and photos. The flagship PE320QXT pushes native 6K, which is a real draw for anyone working with higher-resolution footage. The smaller PE270KT offers the same color accuracy at a fraction of the price, and it’ll be plenty for many users. It’s also good to see the PE160W bring color-accurate images to a portable form factor. Across the range, Acer has a monitor to suit just about any creator.
Pricing and availability
All three ProDesigner monitors are scheduled to ship in June. The PE320QXT will cost $1,499, the PE270KT $450 and the PE160W $249.99. All three will be available from B&H in the U.S.
